Liberty County, Florida (WJHG / WECP.) - Susan Chafin, the Florida Department of Health in the counties of Calhoun and Liberty, has a passion for women taking responsibility for their own health.
The department conducts its 9th Annual Conference of Women's Health, May 6, at the Civic Center Veterans Memorial in Bristol.
This year the main speaker is a local Panama City, which appeared on the Dr. Oz Show on NBC.
Natasha Monique Coleman has lost over 200 pounds and will tell the story of how a healthy lifestyle has changed his life.
Chafin said the theme of the seminar this year "to develop a healthier life" and focuses on how women should make their control its annual progress a priority.
It encourages women to their doctor about any changes you notice in your body and take new lifestyle options to speak.
