Moving further healthier to learn and to live, are some of the objectives of national annual Healthy Kids Day at the YMCA. This year, several Memorial Hermann have helped women at the head of volunteers to make the event a success at three locations in the Houston area.
The group helped support Kids Day Health in Vic Coppinger Family YMCA in Pearland, Langham Creek Family YMCA in Houston and Lake Houston Family YMCA. Each site represents a different region my Memorial Hermann serves.
During the event, games, entertainment, fitness challenges and checkups. The event also provides opportunities for many children in YMCA programs such as summer day camps enrolled, youth sports and swimming lessons.
