Researchers have confirmed that stress and living in close time in nature spend trees is reduced beneficial to your health and your wallet. Now a new study has noted that women, surrounded the vegetation are likely to live a longer life.
The study, published in Environmental Health Perspectives, was conducted by researchers at Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health and Brigham and Women's Hospital. 108 630 data from women in the health study of nurses in the United States between 2000 and 2008 she helped determine whether you live near vegetation of women's health affects researchers.
The team relied on satellite images from different seasons and years, to the amount of vegetation that calculate in the house of every woman.
Researchers found that women who lived in the green surroundings an overall mortality rate of 12% was lower compared to those who live in areas with less vegetation. Interestingly, women who live in areas where most had a respiratory rate of death by 34% lower vegetation and a cancer mortality rate of 13% compared to those who are around their homes had less vegetation.

Peter James, researcher at the Institute of Epidemiology, Harvard School Chan commented on the results:
"We were surprised that so strong associations between increased exposure to green and lower mortality rates observed. We were even more surprised to find evidence that many of the advantages of high vegetation seems to be linked to improved mental health."
Again, science has confirmed what many have long suspected to be true: that spent relaxing in nature not only time, it is important to live a long and healthy life.
