It is a model and founder.

My mother grew up in a generation that was all feels thin; They were lean, or try to get in this way. As a child I lived through diet after diet to fight with the rules, as a Latina woman, were completely unrealistic. to see my mother struggle with her weight took me: he looked at me and thought it was beautiful, she was my mother. And this woman, who looked every day, can not see their beauty? I saw him so obsessed and taken to be a certain size jeans, skinny and not too curvy, I expected to be increasingly thin, wait get in that dress, waiting to be happy.

And that's what caught my attention, I will not wait.

It was not until I started acting classes to go and participate in my community through the arts, I really and my voice, the voice that told me that if you can dream it, you can achieve it found me. I studied theater, dance and song, and the skills and talents have me and lit the fire in me. Finally, I followed the voice in California at the age of 18 to become an actress.

It was in Hollywood that are not implemented quickly to become an actress. I was told several times by different agents and casting directors, "Oh, if you only lost 10 to 15 pounds, you would be perfect for this part. "Too big, too short, too curvy, too fat. If I had tried to reduce their shape, all still waiting. I could not believe that my work, my brain and my persistence are neglected because of my size.

But I will not allow anyone else to move. Hollywood else should I wait until my eyes on something. In creative background, my next road in makeup and beauty, and that was where he was discovered as a model. One day a photographer asked me if I had never modeled and if I could take my photos. I was not thinking, "This woman is crazy. "I could not see it. I thought, "I'm too weak; I'm Curvy "but in the end the project to accept, and the rest is history. It was a voice, a woman change my way. And the brighter, the more I can help others to shine.

We must continue to speak women and to encourage them to feel like they can be themselves - inside and out.

Now I am a mother herself Nowhere I felt so heavy responsibility, how to teach my daughter that there is no wrong way it is to be yourself. - to be a young woman, regardless of size. I know these ideas are instilled in every generation as early, and it's my job to be that voice; tell her she's beautiful and she can achieve what you offer.

It took a long time, but my mother finally embraced her beautiful body also. Although I think my career and my success really played a role in this area, I am still happy to think that this change occurred because the people of the world finally talk about the positivity of the body. That helped. It helps all women. And we must continue to speak women and to encourage them to feel like they can be themselves - inside and out.
